The issue of peace in Afghanistan

After the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan, the scene is exactly the same as it was when the Soviet Union withdrew. Afghan territory is almost empty of foreign troops. The famous Bagram Eater base is deserted. And the military equipment there is adding to its desolation.Afghanistan has been a victim of civil war since 1979. But with the withdrawal of the current foreign forces, there are fears that the civil war in Afghanistan will intensify. This could affect the entire southern region, including Pakistan. Because the Afghan Taliban are advancing rapidly. They are occupying one district and city after another.

The Afghan Taliban have consolidated control of almost all cities. Only Kabul remains a government-controlled city. In this situation, if war breaks out, many problems will arise for Afghan citizens. The United States is in talks with three Central Asian states (including Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan) to save Afghans from this impending civil war.
It is being said that the United States is requesting these states to provide partial asylum to Afghans. In order to save the lives of Afghans due to the intense civil war and to apply for a US visa from there. But informed sources say the three states have refused to grant asylum to Afghan citizens. This situation will certainly not be disturbing and fearless for Afghan citizens.

Because they do not have US forces to protect them from the Afghan Taliban and on the other hand the Afghan security forces are not in a position to fight the Afghan Taliban. Pakistan's role in this issue has been "cautious". It has adopted a cautious strategy by closing its borders with Afghanistan, sending the message that "Pakistan will no longer want to be a part of this conflict."

This is true in a way, because if we turn the pages of the past, we find that Pakistan does not want to buy more trouble and problems by supporting the United States and anti-Soviet groups on the issue of Afghanistan. How the situation in Afghanistan will improve is not yet known. Because the situation is very worst at this time. The Taliban are pushing back Afghan security forces and seizing several key cities, including the Afghan capital. In addition, former Afghan warlords are now pitted against each other, leading to fears of further devastation. No one knows how to save the Afghan people from this catastrophe. In this situation, the countries that have been interested in Afghanistan from time to time should come forward. These countries must develop a strategy that avoids a bleak future for Afghans.
